These terms apply to your use of SceneRiot (www.sceneriot.com, "we"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
What SceneRiot is
SceneRiot shows short animated comedy sketches, written with AI and performed live in your browser, and publishes some of them as videos on YouTube. The sketches are fiction and parody. Characters are made up, and any resemblance to real people is coincidental. Sketches that retell films are parody and commentary; SceneRiot is not affiliated with or endorsed by those films' makers.
Using the site
- Use SceneRiot lawfully, and do not try to disrupt it, overload it, or get into parts of it you have not been given access to.
- Comments must not be abusive, hateful, harassing, sexual, misleading or spam, and must not contain other people's personal information. We may remove any comment.
- You are responsible for what you post. By commenting you let us show your comment on the site.
Creator access
Some people are given an access code to make scenes. Keep it to yourself. Do not ask for scenes that target real private individuals, depict real people in a false or harmful way, or include hateful, sexual or violent content involving minors, or anything illegal. Scenes you make may be published on the site and on SceneRiot's channels, and we may remove any scene.
Content and rights
SceneRiot, its sketches, characters and code belong to SceneRiot or its licensors. Models, sets and music by others are used under their licences (mostly CC0 or CC-BY) and credited in each scene under Behind the scenes. You may watch and share links to scenes; please do not re-upload our videos as your own.
YouTube
Our videos on YouTube, and the Studio's YouTube features, are also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. How we handle YouTube data is set out in our Privacy Policy.
No warranty
SceneRiot is provided as it is and as available, for entertainment. Sketches are written by AI and may contain mistakes or things you find in poor taste. We do not promise the site will always be available or free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of SceneRiot, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us, which for a free site is nothing.
Changes
We may change these terms, or the site, at any time. Changed terms will be posted here with a new date; using the site after that means you accept them.
